Project 366: Day 82, 03-22 Cookin’ Up a Victory

Our little chef is prepping for a cook-down in STL. Fun with the KU apron; will need to update at some point with Cory’s cape pic.

Project 366: Day 78, 03-18 WOW

What a nail-biter! I wish I had a picture of the Hawks at the end of the game, but I was too busy jumping up and down and yelling my face off.

Tonight game was the best game I have ever attended! Survive and advance.

Project 366: Day 76, 03-16 KU v. Who

Was so lucky to have center court tickets to the KU v. Detroit game tonight. Most of the first half was kind nerve-stacking, but I ended up breathing by half-time.

Wish we were there for the MU loss, but took a sake bomb to celebrate. See ya!

Project 366: Day 56, 02-25 The Good Guys Won

Kansas v. Mizzou. The Border War. Last game of a 100+ year rivalry.

Wow. Today’s game was so intense, I could barely watch (but I did…eyes partially covered). Of course, the good guys won. Muck Fizzou!

The Crossing was nuts after the win…

Friday Fave: Our Father…

I get so superstitious this time of year. It’s MARCH MADNESS!!

I’m on America’s side as Kansas plays Richmond in the Sweet Sixteen tonight, and these are the words that will help me get through the day:

Our Father, who art in Lawrence,
Hallowed be thy Game.

Thy Tourney come,
Thy Championship will be done,
In San Antonio as it is in Allen Fieldhouse.

Give us this day,
Our deserved victory,
And forgive us our turnovers,
As we forgave Roy,
Who double-crossed against us.

Lead us not into defeat,
But deliver us from the East coast bias.

For Kansas is the Basketball Kingdom, the Tradition, the Glory,
Forever and ever,
Amen.

Project 365: Day 9 – 01.09

A four hour party bus ride and two bars later, two fellow Jayhawks show some school spirit at the KU/Michigan game in Ann Arbor where KU won in overtime 67-60.
