After a day of being pretty much immobile, we finally left the house today. Thank goodness for the city snow-plowers!
We’re lucky to have a covered garage spot, so we didn’t need to prep the car to leave. But, most of Chicagoans park on the streets, and as you saw from yesterday’s photo…they were stuck. Some people shoveled for hours to get their cars out and marked their well-earned spot with chairs, etc. There’s quite the debate whether this is socially acceptable, but I say yes! If I were to shovel for more than 3 hours, I’m going to parking in that very spot when I return.
