Project 366: Day 72, 03-12 Request to Cabbies

I have been lucky enough to have 3 cab drivers this year who not only took credit card (such a challenge) but were so techy about processing.

Check out this amazingly efficient iPhone plug-in, Square, that scans credit cards. It’s only $10, scans without “service issues” and charges the standard processing fee. Customers sign on the phone and a receipt is emailed!

One of the best days of the year! Jayhawks are headed to Omaha and hopefully St. Louis…we will be going to both to cheer them on. So excited!

Project 366: Day 69, 03-09 I’ve Got Crabs

Couldn’t help it. Headline says it all.

Crab at Shaw’s was good but not the best. Oysters were relish, though.

Project 366: Day 68, 03-08 Target Cures All

Going to Target unsupervised has to be one of my favorite activities.

Today’s trip for 4 work binders mission) ended with 2 pairs of espadrilles, some nail polish, 4 baby outfits for niece R, a can of Chef Boyardee for dinner and a much better mood. Priceless.

Project 366: Day 67, 03-07 Candy Necklace Kinda Day

Sun was shining. Temps were in the 60s. It was a coral candy necklace kinda day!

Check out more my dear friend Amy Carroll on Facebook. Her candy collection comes in the BEST colors and is a great statement piece.

Project 366: Day 65, 03-05 DIY Invites

Just finished up another DIY wedding project and so excited about them. Sheila and I are hosting a bridal shower for Cory’s cousin Brittney this summer. Her colors are pink, lime and orange, so I tried to incorporate within the invites.

I saw this amazing DIY chevron invitation suite on Wedding Chicks and thought it would be a great way to tie in Brittney’s colors in a trendy way. The suite is amazing because you can choose from great colors and customize your copy.

For Brittney’s invites, I edited the chevron stripes and then designed the invitation part with some free fonts online. I included a special surprise card for guests and used glassine envelopes and confetti that I had leftover from another DIY wedding project (thanks, Danice). To finish, I created some simple wrap address labels with the chevron design to tie things together.

What do you think?

Project 366: Day 64, 03-04 I Heart Hugheys

So thankful to see Miss Andrea this weekend and for the lovely brunch invite chez Quinn. We had such a great time catching up, eating ice cream cake (don’t tell the little ones) and making fun of Andrea…when we could.

Why is my head so big? Awkward.
