Project 366: Day 82, 03-22 Cookin’ Up a Victory

Our little chef is prepping for a cook-down in STL. Fun with the KU apron; will need to update at some point with Cory’s cape pic.

Project 366: Day 78, 03-18 WOW

What a nail-biter! I wish I had a picture of the Hawks at the end of the game, but I was too busy jumping up and down and yelling my face off.

Tonight game was the best game I have ever attended! Survive and advance.

Project 366: Day 77, 03-17 St. P’s

Kiss me, I’m a Jayhawk…

Since I have lived in Chicago (6+ years), this is the first weekend we haven’t celebrated a Chi-rish St. Patty’s and it just so happens to be the return of the South Side Parade.

Oh, well. Glad to be in Omaha to support the Hawks.

ROCK CHALK SHAMROCK!!!

Project 366: Day 76, 03-16 KU v. Who

Was so lucky to have center court tickets to the KU v. Detroit game tonight. Most of the first half was kind nerve-stacking, but I ended up breathing by half-time.

Wish we were there for the MU loss, but took a sake bomb to celebrate. See ya!

Project 366: Day 71, 03-11 Selection Sunday

One of the best days of the year! Jayhawks are headed to Omaha and hopefully St. Louis…we will be going to both to cheer them on. So excited!

Project 366: Day 56, 02-25 The Good Guys Won

Kansas v. Mizzou. The Border War. Last game of a 100+ year rivalry.

Wow. Today’s game was so intense, I could barely watch (but I did…eyes partially covered). Of course, the good guys won. Muck Fizzou!

The Crossing was nuts after the win…

Wedding Wednesday: Wedding Album

As a thank you gift to our parents, Cory and I gave our families Blurb albums of both our Vietnamese engagement ceremony and our engagement photos. So, for Mothers’ Day we sent them the final of the set of three – our wedding album.

Well, admittedly, I didn’t finish the books in time for Mothers’ Day because I had such a hard time putting the photos together. Becky Hill took so many terrific images, that I had a hard (read: fun) time sifting them through all. I’m so thankful for these lovely images, especially since my videographer “lost” all of our wedding footage (that’s a whole ‘nother post!)…

You’ve probably already seen all the KU lovin’ incorporated in our wedding, but here’s the full wedding album. For Cliff’s Notes versions, a click on the links below for your viewing pleasure:

What’s your favorite pic from your wedding day?

Friday Fave: Our Father…

I get so superstitious this time of year. It’s MARCH MADNESS!!

I’m on America’s side as Kansas plays Richmond in the Sweet Sixteen tonight, and these are the words that will help me get through the day:

Our Father, who art in Lawrence,
Hallowed be thy Game.

Thy Tourney come,
Thy Championship will be done,
In San Antonio as it is in Allen Fieldhouse.

Give us this day,
Our deserved victory,
And forgive us our turnovers,
As we forgave Roy,
Who double-crossed against us.

Lead us not into defeat,
But deliver us from the East coast bias.

For Kansas is the Basketball Kingdom, the Tradition, the Glory,
Forever and ever,
Amen.
