Project 366: Day 68, 03-08 Target Cures All

Going to Target unsupervised has to be one of my favorite activities.

Today’s trip for 4 work binders mission) ended with 2 pairs of espadrilles, some nail polish, 4 baby outfits for niece R, a can of Chef Boyardee for dinner and a much better mood. Priceless.

Project 366: Day 67, 03-07 Candy Necklace Kinda Day

Sun was shining. Temps were in the 60s. It was a coral candy necklace kinda day!

Check out more my dear friend Amy Carroll on Facebook. Her candy collection comes in the BEST colors and is a great statement piece.

Project 366: Day 42, 02-11 A Little Gift from David

I always say, a David Yurman black box is better than a Tiffany’s blue box…

Project 366: Day 38, 02-07 Girls Should Always Sparkle

Here’s Part Deux of my Day 33: Tiny Toms picture…

I thought I was sold by the online Tiny Toms pix, but our order came In today and they are even better in person. Three adorable pairs came in a box smaller than a adult sized shoe box. I die. So cute.

Style Sunday: Yikes, Stripes!

Cheers to chevron! From home accents to wardrobe accessories, I am ga-ga over these zig zags lately. Chevron is a perfect, modern pattern that adds just a pop of pizzaz — anywhere you crave it.

What do you think of these bold stripes?

Wedding Wednesday: I Deal Eeee!

Thanks to my online shopaholic friend, Ingrid Gerdes, today’s Wedding Wednesday ties to Ideeli’s Ready, Set, Wed sales event! And, when they have wedding boutiques, I love looking and seeing what prices are – of course, because when you tack the word “bridal” to anything, the cost exponentially increases by a jillion percent and you need a little more than a piggy bank.

 I admit, I check discount shopping sites like Ideeli and Rue La La daily, too. Shopping on these sites gives you the thrill of scouring garage sales or flea markets. There’s so much out there, but what do you really need?

Well, after browsing through today’s Ideeli sale, I realized that with the right timing and theme, you can probably actually outfit yourself and a bridal party with some of the incredible deals available – if you’re flexible when it comes to a certain look/feel of your wedding.

Today, I’m going to a beachy destination wedding. Who’s with me?

Nicole Miller Ivory Silk One Shoulder Grecian Dress
Ideeli = $299; Retail = $880

Badgley Mischka Dani Shoes
Ideeli = $99; Retail = $215

Cara Couture White Flower Hairpin with Feathers

Ravon Grey Long Convertible Dress

So, what do you think? Have you or would you ever buy your wedding gear from a one-day online sale?

Oh, and if you need an invitation to any of these types of sites, let me know!

Style Saturday: Is It Spring Yet?

Now that Snowmageddon has turned to Slushmageddon, I’m officially over winter.

I’m counting down the 43 days until the Spring equinox and the new season arrives. We all know, it’ll still be too cold to ditch the jackets and scarves for skirts and sandals, but I can daydream, can’t I?

If I could, I’d trade in my puffy coat and Hunter wellies for these right now. What spring pieces are you loving?

Project 365: Day 32 – 02.01

Cory and I picked these matching Puma sweatshirts out at the store a few years ago and did not realize it until we got to the register. It’s happened a couple of times before, but always makes me laugh when we randomly choose to wear the hoodies on the same day without knowing it.

Wedding Wednesday: Mani, I Do!

So, as I was thinking about what today’s #WW should be, I looked down at my wintery dry hands, crunchy cuticles and bare nails on my keyboard and realized that the last time my nails got some tender lovin’ was the week of my wedding.

I’d probably have better #WW ideas if I had some color on these nails, right? Maybe I’ll save you all the suffering of a lame post next week, take one for the team and have a blog brainstorm session while getting a mani. Sounds like a plan to me!

‘Til then, guess you’re stuck with some ring-worthy (and not-so-worthy) wedding hands:

Mani, I Do!

Mani, I Don’t…

I wore a one-two punch of Bubble Bath + Pop Art Pink on the ol’ wedding day, but I’m curious what everyone else wore?
